Hide Specific Photo on Facebook Photo

Facebook is a convenient online platform for sharing photos with your friends and contacts. When you upload a photo or create a photo album on the site, Facebook prompts you to choose a share setting that controls who can view the uploaded images. The share control is not set in stone, however, and you can hide a specific photo on Facebook at any time by opening the photo and editing its privacy settings.

Sign in to Facebook.

Click "Profile" in the main menu bar at the top of the page. Select "Photos" in the left-hand navigation menu. This opens your Facebook Photos page.

Click the album that contains the photo that you want to hide. Individual photos uploaded from smartphones or mobile devices are located in the "Mobile Uploads" album. This opens the album page with a thumbnail grid view of all the photos it contains.

Click the photo that you want to hide. This opens the image in the Facebook photo browser.

Click the blue "Share" link in the bottom left-hand corner of the window. This opens the Share This Photo dialog box.

Click the padlock icon in the top right-hand corner of the dialog box, then select "Custom Edit" from the drop-down menu.

Select "Only Me" from the drop-down list under "Make This Visible to."

Click the blue "Save Setting" button to store the changes. Facebook now hides the photo from all other users.
