Facebook introduced group conversations as a way for groups of friends and family to easily plan events and keep in touch as a group. It's a useful feature that can get annoying if the conversation does not pertain to you, as the Facebook app will continually push notifications to your phone every time someone posts a new message. The app provides a simple way to leave a conversation with a few taps of your iPhone.
Tap the "Menu" button, then select "Messages."
Select the conversation you want to leave and click the "Info" button.
Tap "Leave Conversation," then tap "Leave" to confirm that you no longer want to receive messages.
