Facebook can help you reset your password as long as you know the email address, username or phone number associated with the account. Sometimes all the information that identifies the account is completely gone, though, and the account cannot be found. In that case, you should submit a big report to Facebook so that they can refine the Account Finder, even though it won't necessarily help you access your account. Your best bet to access a forgotten Facebook account is to try to search for the account with every email, phone number and username you remember. The account must be located in the Account Finder for you to regain access to it.
Account Finder
Navigate to Facebook's Account Finder. Type in your full name and click search. Click "Back" to return to the search screen.
Type in a phone number that may have been associated with the account, and click "Search." Continue trying different phone numbers if the first one doesn't work. Click "Back" to return to the search screen.
Type in an email address that may have been associated with the account, and then click "Search." Continue trying different email addresses if the first one doesn't work. Click "Back" to return to the search screen.
Type in a Facebook username that may have been associated with the account, and click "Search." Continue trying different usernames if the first one doesn't work.
Look at the account found with the variables you typed into the account finder. If it's your account, continue to reset either with your old Facebook email account or with a security question and a new email account. If no account is found, submit a bug report to Facebook to make them aware of the problem.
