Hide Tabs on Facebook

Facebook Pages, or "fan pages" as they are sometimes called, include a Wall tab and an Info tab on the left side of the screen. Facebook Page administrators can also add additional apps -- such as Photos, Links or Discussions -- which appear as additional tabs. Facebook Page fans click those tabs to interact with the content within. If you have no use for any of the apps installed in your Facebook fan page, remove them in a few clicks.

Log in to Facebook with the account you use to administer your Facebook Page.

Click "Account" in the upper right area of the screen and select "Use Facebook as Page" from the drop-down list. Click the Page title for which you want to hide tabs. (Do not click the "Switch" button.) The selected Facebook Page appears.

Click "Edit" in the left navigation column under the tabs under the avatar for your Facebook Page. An "X" appears next to each tab that can be hidden.

Click the "X" next to any tab you want to hide on your Facebook Page. The tab is immediately hidden from the public.
