In addition to helping you keep up with friends' hobbies and activities, Facebook can keep you out of trouble by offering a reminder of friends' upcoming birthdays. Any birthdays occurring today or in the very near future automatically appear in the "Events" section on the right side of your Facebook homepage. This, however, doesn't give you much warning or time to plan or buy presents. From your homepage, you can view upcoming birthdays with just a few clicks.
Navigate to your Facebook homepage.
Click the "Events" option in the left panel of the page.
Click the "Birthdays" link on the page that opens. This appears at the bottom of your list of events. You can now see upcoming events for the rest of the month as well as the next several months.
Click the arrow buttons at the bottom of the page to see past birthdays as well as birthdays further in the future.
