If you need to get in touch with a friend on Facebook but don't want to use the more-public Profile Wall to send it, you can use Facebook's direct (private) messaging feature. You can send private messages not only to a single friend, but to multiple friends. Each time a friend replies, all friends included in the direct message can see it. You can learn how to send direct messages to multiple Facebook friends in just a few steps.
Log in to your Facebook account at Facebook.com.
Click the messages icon (chat bubbles next to the Facebook logo) at the top of the screen, then click "Send a new message."
Enter the name of a friend into the "To:" field. Your friend's name will be shown in an auto-complete search box. Click on your friend's name to add them to the message. You can add another friend by typing their name out until it also appears in an auto-complete search box. Click on them to add them to the message. You can use this process repeatedly to add multiple friends to a Facebook direct message.
Click the "Send" button to send the message to the multiple friends you selected.
