Facebook allows you to fill out an extensive profile of your likes, dislikes, contact information and personal information. The relationship status is a part of the Facebook profile information. This field (while not required) is often filled out particularly for people who are interested in meeting new people. You can easily find out the relationship status of someone by going to the "Info" section of her profile page.
Go to the Facebook website. Log in to your account using your email address and password.
Type a name into the "Search" box. A list of possible matching profiles appears. Select the person you want to check the relationship status of by clicking on their name in the list.
Click on the "Info" link under her profile picture.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to the "Basic Information" Screen. If the person has a relationship status filled out on her profile, it is located here. The person can choose to have this information only available to their friends, friends of friends or everyone.
