It's easy to get carried away with tagging friends on Facebook. If you decide you want to later remove a tag of yourself or a friend from a photo you have posted, you can do so with a few clicks of the mouse. If a friend has tagged you in his photos, you can delete the photo tag of yourself -- but not of any of the other people in the photo.
Log in to your Facebook account using your email address and password.
Click on your avatar on the upper, left corner of the screen. Move the mouse to the "Photos" link just below the avatar, and click.
Scroll down the page until you locate the photo with the tag that requires removal. Double-click on the image using your mouse.
Look under the photo for your name. Click on the "Remove Tag" link located in the parentheses just after your name. The photo tag will disappear immediately.
