Email notifications alert you to changes or new requests on your Facebook account. You can choose what email notifications you receive on your iPhone and disable the ones you don't want. Your iPhone has two options for managing your Facebook account. You can download the free Facebook Mobile Application and manage your profile from a mobile application. You can also access Facebook the standard way through your Internet web browser.
Facebook Mobile Application
Open the Facebook application on your iPhone.
Click on the grid button in the top left corner. The icon appears to be nine small squares making up a large square.
Click on the "Account" button in the top left corner.
Click on the "Account Settings" button.
Click on the "Notifications" tab. Facebook lists all the options for email notifications with a check mark next to the option.
Remove the check mark next to each Facebook notification you want to disable. Remove the check marks from every option to complete disable all Facebook email notifications.
Facebook Website
Go to the Facebook website. Log in to your Facebook profile using your username and password.
Click on the "Account" link in the top right corner. Choose "Account Settings" from the list of available options.
Click on the "Notifications" tab. Facebook lists all the options for email notifications with a check mark next to the option.
Remove the check mark next to each Facebook notification you want to disable. Remove the check marks from every option to completely disable all Facebook email notifications.
