Find All Facebook Members in City

Each Facebook member's profile has fields for basic personal information, such as the user's hometown and current city of residence. This information is optional, but it helps other Facebook users to find people they know. Facebook members who have already been added to your friend list don't appear in the general list of all Facebook users. However, you can search your friend list and Facebook users who are not yet your friends by city. Only Facebook users who have added city information to their profiles will appear in the search results.

Search Facebook Members by City
Log into Facebook.

Click the "Find Friends" link on the top-right edge of the screen.

Type the name of a city in either the "Hometown" field or the "Current City" field.

Click the name of the city from the list that appears below the field.

Narrow the city search results by entering a high school, college, mutual friend or employer in the provided fields.

Search Friends by City
Sign into Facebook.

Click the "Friends" link in the pane on the left side of the screen below your profile picture.

Click "Edit Friends."

Select "Search by Current City" or "Search by Hometown" in the pull-down menu.
