Hide Albums on Facebook

Facebook serves as a useful tool for storing and cataloging your personal photos. Although one of Facebook's main draws is the ability to share all types of information with friends, family and acquaintances, you can opt to keep specific items private. For instance, you can hide an album from displaying in your profile by setting its privacy setting to "Only Me." Edit the album's individual settings to keep your photos secure.

Log in to Facebook and click the top-right corner "Profile" button. Your news feed and other options appear.

Select "Photos" beneath your profile picture. Your albums appear.

Click the album you want to hide. The album's photos load.

Click "Edit Album" above the photos. A dialog box opens.

Click the "Privacy" drop-down box and then click "Customize." New options appear in the dialog box.

Click the "These People" drop-down box and then click "Only Me."

Click "Save Settings."
