Your Facebook news feed lists your most current activities, such as commenting on someone's wall or updating your relationship status. This feature can be useful after automatically posting information that you do not mind sharing with your friends. Some posts, however, can leave undesired personal information on your profile, prompting you to clear the data. Facebook's news feed deletion option, however, does not readily appear next to each posting. To find the removal option, you must hover your mouse over the undesired item.
Locate the posted content on your news feed that you wish to delete.
Hold your mouse over the content. A gray "X" icon appears at the top-right corner of the content's posting.
Click the gray "X." A confirmation window opens.
Click the "Remove Post" button.
