Make Facebook Account for a Website

Even when you already have an online presence through your website, it is important to promote your website using social-media websites, such as Facebook and Twitter. You can create a Facebook page for your business, individual products, services, social causes and entertainment websites. Creating a Facebook page for your website is similar to creating a personal Facebook page. You don't even need your website's URL to set up the account; you can fill in your account details after you confirm your account.

Go to the Facebook website. Choose the "Create a Page" option at the bottom of the screen.

Choose the page option that most closely resembles your website. Select a category and type in the name of your website. Check the box to agree to the "Facebook Pages Terms." Click the "Get Started" button.

Type the text that appears in the "Security Check" box. Click the "Submit" button.

Choose the "I Do Not Have a Facebook Account" option. Fill in your email address, password and date of birth. Agree to the terms of service. Click "Sign Up Now."

Wait for the confirmation email to arrive from Facebook. Click on the link in the email from Facebook to confirm your new Facebook account. The link will bring you to the "Get Started" page to fill in your website's information.
