Facebook changed its format in 2011 to allow you to post a comment or update your status by typing in your text and hitting your "Enter" key. This quick reply feature is different from the previous format that required you to click the "Submit" button next to the text box. Avoid accidentally posting a comment when you want to move to a new line by learning to use the "Shift" key and "Enter" key together.
