Make Post for Facebook

For some users, posting on Facebook has become second nature. Status updates, links, photos and videos, questions and comments are all Facebook functions that facilitate the connecting and networking that most members seek. Friends are keeping each other in the know about everything from current events to delicious coffee. They're doing it efficiently, and at their own convenience with Facebook posts. Whether you're posting something on a friend's wall or your own, you can do it in just a few steps.

Post Your Status Updates
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Click the "What's On Your Mind?" bar located at the top of your profile or homepage.

Type your status in the bar and click "Share" to post a status update.

Post Your Photos
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Click the "Photo" option located at the top of your profile or homepage in the "Share" section.

Click an option and follow prompts to "Upload a Photo from your drive," "Take a Photo with a webcam" or "Create an Album with many photos."

Post Your Links
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Click the "Link" option at the top of your profile or homepage in the "Share" section.

Type the URL of the link you want to post and click "Attach."

Follow the prompts to attach a thumbnail photo, if available. Add personal text in the "Say Something About This Link" box, if desired. Click "Share."

Post Your Videos
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Click the "Video" option located at the top of your profile or homepage in the "Share" section.

Click an option and follow the prompts to "Record a Video with a webcam" or "Upload a Video from your drive."

Post Your Questions
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Click the "Question" option located at the top of your profile or homepage in the "Share" section. Type your question in the "Ask something..." box.

Include poll answers, if desired. For example, if your question relates to delicious local fast-food restaurants, include the names of several for your friends to rate. Check off the "Allow Anyone to Add Options," if desired. Click "Ask Question."

Post Your Comments
Log into your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Scroll through the Facebook walls to view posts by other Facebook members.

Type your comment in the "Write a Comment..." box and hit the "Enter" or "Return" key on your keyboard.
