Put Slideshow on Facebook

When it comes to displaying a group of photos, creating a slideshow allows you to show off a lot more work at once. If you want to display that slideshow on Facebook, you must make sure the slideshow file is in a format that Facebook recognizes. The best way to do that is to save the slideshow as a video file.

Open your slideshow file from the program where you created it. (This is typically a photo-sharing program or a video-editing program.)

Click "File," "Export" and then select a video format in which to save/export the file from the format selections provided in your program. Typical video formats include .avi, .wmv and .m4v. If you're not sure which file format to use, check the list of accepted formats at the Facebook Developers site (see Resources).

Log in to Facebook with your user name and password.

Click the Video icon above the "What's on Your Mind?" status update box and then click "Upload a Video From Your Drive."

Select the video file you just saved from the files and folders on your computer. When the video is uploaded, click "Share" to post it to your profile.
