Make Music Slideshow for Facebook

When you combine a set of photos with a bit of music, it just gives it an extra kick. If you're thinking of doing a slideshow with music that you want to post to Facebook, it can be done -- you'll just need to make sure the project is saved as a video file, that can be easily recognized by the social media platform. So long as you're familiar with the video editing program on your computer -- often iMovie for Mac and Movie Maker for Windows -- you should be able to accomplish this task with relative ease.

Open your video editing program and start a new project.

Import the photos you want to use for your slideshow and drag them to the Timeline of your project. Arrange them in the order you want them to appear.

Import the songs you want to use for your slideshow and drag the file to their desired place on the Timeline.

Export the project as a video file. Typically, this is accomplished by clicking "File" or "Share," then clicking "Export." From there, you'll typically be able to select a number of file types. Choose a video file type that is compatible with Facebook. Facebook accepts most standard video file types.

Log in to Facebook with your username and password.

Click "Video" above the "What's on your mind?" box, then select "Upload a Video from your drive." When your computer's files and folders appear, select the video file you just created. Click "Share" when the file is uploaded to display the video on your profile. The upload process may take some time, depending on the length of the video.
