Delete events from Facebook using your account’s Events screen. How you go about removing an event varies slightly depending on whether you’re using the Facebook website or the official Facebook app for mobile devices. Either way, you can only delete events for which you are an administrator.
Delete Events Using the Facebook Website
Step 1: Click the Facebook logo in the top-left corner of the website to view your News Feed.
Step 2: Click the Events button on the menu on the left of the screen.
Step 3: Select the event you want to delete to load the event’s page.
Step 4: Press the Edit button found below the event’s header image.
Step 5: Click the Cancel Event link.
Step 6: Press the Yes button to confirm you want to delete the event.
Delete Events Using the Facebook Mobile App

Step 1: Tap the three-line Menu icon.
Step 2: Touch the Events button to load your Events page.
Step 3: Tap the name of the event you want to delete.
Step 4: Touch the Edit icon.
Step 5: Tap Delete event.
Step 6: Touch Yes to confirm you want to delete the selected event.
Delete a Life Event
You can also remove life events from your Facebook Timeline. Life events are used to chronicle milestones in your personal history, such as graduations, retirements, weddings and the birth of a child. To remove a life event, tap your name next to your profile picture to load your Timeline. Scroll down until you locate the life event you want to delete. Click the downward-facing arrow in the top-right corner of the event and select Delete to remove it.
Tip
When you cancel an event, a notification is sent to each person who has not yet removed himself from the event's page or officially declined his invitation to attend.
