Sometimes we all need a little bit of time alone. If you're tired of looking at your Facebook profile picture and would prefer to use the Facebook default placeholder picture, then you can do so by changing your settings at the Facebook website. You can edit your profile picture via the "Edit My Profile" link in the main Facebook browser window.
Navigate your web browser to the Facebook website and log in with your user name and password.
Click the "Edit My Profile" link in the upper-left corner of the Facebook home page.
Click the "Profile Picture" link in the left browser pane.
Click "Remove Your Picture" followed by "OK" to remove your Facebook profile picture. Your profile is now accompanied by the default Facebook profile photo placeholder.
