View Your Facebook Page As Friend

As your Facebook friend list grows, you may acquire contacts who are not close personal friends. Luckily, the social networking site allows you to create sub-lists within your friend list that have differing privacy settings. While some friends might be allowed to see everything on your profile, for instance, others may not have access to certain photos. After you create a new list, preview how your profile appears to those friends to make sure nothing is visible that you don't want them to see.

Click on the "Account" link at the top of Facebook and choose "Privacy Settings."

Click on the blue "Customize Settings" link at the very bottom of the "Sharing on Facebook" section.

Click on the gray "Preview My Profile" icon, located in the top right corner of the screen.

Begin to type a friend's name in the "Preview how your profile looks to a specific person" field at the top of the screen. As you type, Facebook generates a list of matching names from your friend list -- choose a friend by clicking on her name once. Facebook will show you how your profile appears to that friend.

Repeat Step 4 for each friend whose profile view you want to preview.
