Change Name Characters on Facebook

On Facebook, you can adjust settings such as your name, username, email and password from the Account Settings menu. Your name appears at the top of the profile page and allows friends and family to search and find you. You can also add special characters to your name -- shapes such as hearts, diamonds, arrows and clubs -- by inserting them as HTML code.

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click "Account" from the top-right of the Facebook page and click "Account Settings."

Click "Change" next to the "Name" field.

Click inside the box next to "Full Name" and enter the codes for the characters that you want to appear in your Facebook name. Find a list of special character codes on the Webmonkey website (see Resources).

Click "Save Changes."

Click "Profile" from the top-right of your Facebook page to see your name with the new characters.
