When you link your website to Google Analytics, you're able to track visitors as well as see how visitors find your site. With Analytics, you can study your site's activity to increase revenue and improve performance which makes accurate settings essential. Change the time zone setting to get a better idea of when people are visiting your site. This helps when you need to make changes and want to ensure your target audience sees your changes. If you have linked an AdWords account with Google Analytics, Analytics is synced with the time zone you have set in AdWords. If not, you need to change the time zone in the Analytics profile settings.
Log in to your Google Analytics account.
Click the "Edit" link. Under the heading "Website Profiles" is a listing of the websites you have linked to Google Analytics. "Edit" is located to the far right of the line of each website profile. This will bring up your site's profile settings.
Click "Edit" which is located to the right of "Main Website Profile Information."
Select your country or territory from the drop-down menu next to "Time Zone Country or Territory."
Select your time zone from the drop-down menu next to "Time Zone" and click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each website you for which you want to change the time zone.
