Turn Off Google Theme

Google's classic homepage can be themed with a custom background image. The theme replaces Google homepage background with an image of your choice -- similar to a desktop wallpaper. If you've enabled a Google theme and want to disable it, you can do so from the homepage itself. Only users logged in with a Google account can modify the theme setting. Google saves this preference to your Google account so you'll see the same theme on any computer you use, as long as you're logged in.

Open the Google homepage at google.com.

Click the "Change Background" link at the bottom-left corner of the Google homepage.

Sign in with your Google account name and password on the login page that appears if you're not already signed in.

Click "No Background" at the left side of the dialog that appears and click the "Select" button.
