Contact Google for Corrections

Contacting Google to make corrections to the Google Earth database is a simple process. The company provides a helpful "Contact Us" tool to send reports about conflicting or incorrect information that is maintained in the database. Although Google cannot respond to each message individually, a company representative reads and investigates your report. If necessary, the company may follow up with you for additional details.

Type "earth.google.com" in a Web browser on your computer.

Click the "Help" option from the top navigation menu.

Type the keywords "contact us" in the "What can we help you with?" search field and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Click the listing that reads, "Contact Us -- Google Earth Help" on the next page.

Select the problem subject from the "Please select the problem you're experiencing" drop-down box.

Type in your full email address in the second box.

Type a description of the problem or correction needed in the "Message" text field area. Google recommends giving as much information as possible, including the latitude and longitude or specific address of the area. Other details describing the problem are helpful, too.

Enter the address or latitude and longitude coordinates in the field below the map. Click the "Search" button to focus and set the map on that location. Click the "Submit" button to send your correction report to Google.
