Divide Fractions on Google Calculator

Google offers a calculator among its services. You may use the calculator within its standard search function, inputting the formula to which you would like the answer. The calculator performs most of the functions of a regular calculator. If you want to use the calculator to divide fractions, it can perform that as well. The output is in decimal form; if you the want the answer in fraction form, an additional website will convert the decimal into a fraction.

Log on to Google.com.

Enter the fractions in your problem in the search box. For example, enter "(3/4)/(1/2)." Write the answer down or copy and paste the answer, which should be 1.5.

Go to a website that transforms decimals into fractions, such as Calculator Soup (see Resources). Input the decimal answer (1.5) from the Google calculator and click "Calculate." The online calculator will convert the decimal to a fraction, which should be 3/2, or 1 1/2.
