Make Google Homepage With Images

A useable feature in Web browsers allows you to select any website address of choice for a homepage. Every time you open your Web browser to access the Internet, the starting page that appears is the one listed in the default setting of the browser. At the time of publication, whether using Mozilla Firefox, Apple's Safari or Internet Explorer as the Web browser of choice, changing this setting is similar and takes a few seconds to accomplish. Make note however, that if you add a toolbar or add-on to your Web browser, most of these plug-ins change the homepage setting automatically.

Mozilla Firefox
Click on the Mozilla Firefox application icon on your desktop or from the fast start menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Allow the Web browser to load fully before attempting to change its options or features.

Change the homepage for Mozilla Firefox by first clicking on "Tools" from the menu bar at the top of the page. Navigate to "Options" from the drop-down menu.

Click on the "General" icon and note the screen that appears. In the field that says "Home Page" paste the following text, "http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi" (without quotes), which sets Google Images as the homepage after you hit "OK."

Use this quick option instead. Navigate to the Google's Image page, without any search data entered and access the browser's general setting features as listed above. In Firefox, on the "General Tab" just press the button underneath the homepage field that says, "Use Current Pages," press "OK" and close. Reopen the browser to verify setting.

Internet Explorer
Select the Internet Explorer icon from the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, or alternatively, hit the "Start" button and launch Internet Explorer. Allow the program to load.

Select "Tools" from the Internet Explorer menu bar and then navigate to "Options."

Choose the "General" tab. Copy and paste the Google information "http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi" (without quotes) and select "OK" or "Apply."

Set the homepage quickly by navigating to the "General" tab when you are on the Google's Web Images page and press the "Set to Current" button underneath the homepage field. Select "OK or "Apply." Close the browser and reopen to check settings.

Safari
Double-click on the Safari icon from the desktop or menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Wait while the application fully loads and then select "Edit" from the menu bar.

Click on "Preferences," then "General." In the homepage field, copy the Google data from above and then press "Enter." When the screen pops up that says, "Are You Sure You Want to Change Your Home Page Settings," click "Yes."

Go to the Google's Images Web page and select "Edit" from the Safari menu. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. Hit the "Set to Current Page," and close the browser. Reopen to verify it received the setting. Repeat if it did not. This is the quick-setting option.
