When writing papers for school or work, using Google Scholar can help you find academic articles related to your topic. In order to ensure that you properly cite your sources, you can use Google Scholar's citation generator to export the bibliography fields for each article you use. This requires modifying your personal Google Scholar settings, but will only take a few minutes.
Open your web browser and navigate to Google Scholar at scholar.google.com
Log in to Google by clicking the "Sign in" link at the top of the screen. If you already see your Google username, you are already signed in.
Click on "Scholar Preferences".
Select the "Show links to import citations into" option under "Bibliography Manager" and choose which format you would like to use from the drop down.
Return to the Google Scholar main page and locate the article you want to cite using the search bar.
