Make Google Crawl My Website

Making Google crawl a website is important in order to allow the site to appear in Google search results. Websites are typically crawled automatically but sometimes Google may overlook a website. They allow for website submissions. Requests for sites to be crawled are also often done if a website was recently updated. Sending your site to Google to be added or updated to their index the next time they crawl the internet is easy and quick.

Open your web browser. Type www.google.com/submityourcontent/index.html in your web browser window and hit enter.

Click the link labeled "Add Your URL" under the "Web" header.

Type your website URL in the "URL" text field starting with the http:// prefix. Include any comments or keywords in the "Comments" text field. Click the "Add URL" button.
