Make Thumbnails in Search Larger

You might find that the miniaturized versions of your Google image search results, often referred to as thumbnails, are too small to be of much use to you. Enlarging image thumbnails serves a couple of purposes. Larger images are easier on your eyes, which don't have to strain as hard to make out the image before you select it. Larger thumbnails also show more detail, making them more useful in general. Google's "Hover-over pane" feature makes quick work of image thumbnail enlargement.

Open your browser by selecting it from your Start menu or click on its icon on your desktop. Navigate to http://images.google.com.

Enter your search term into Google's search box. Press "Enter" on your keyboard or click on the button next to the search box that says "Search Images."

Move your mouse so that the arrow hovers over an image thumbnail to immediately enlarge it.
