Turn Off Google Drop Down List

The Google search engine features an auto-complete drop-down list that displays as soon as you begin typing your search query. Google attempts to predict what you are typing and offers a drop-down list of options that you can select from when entering your search terms. While the feature is intended to speed the search process, some users might find the auto-complete drop-down list to be distracting or otherwise unnecessary. Google does not provide a setting for disabling this feature, but you can disable search auto-complete from within your browser with user scripts.

Navigate to the Trixie installation page. (See Resources)

Download and install Trixie by clicking "Download Trixie Now." You will need to restart Internet Explorer to activate the add-on.
