Make E-Z-GO Golf Cart Faster

The E-Z-GO golf cart is a staple among golf courses and country clubs. The governor is a piece of plastic attached to the motor that regulates the golf cart's speed. If you want your golf cart to go faster, you will need to adjust the governor. Adjusting the governor will give more power to the carburetor, allowing the golf cart to increase the speed that it can run.

Turn your golf cart off and open the bench seat to gain access to the motor. Look for the T-shaped metallic rod at the top of the golf cart's motor.

Look for the carburetor inside the golf cart. The carburetor is a cylindrical object that has valves coming out of it.

Push the governor toward the carburetor to increase the speed of the cart.
