Specifications for Cleveland TA5

Roger Cleveland founded Cleveland Golf in 1979. The company's TA5 line of irons -- introduced in 2002 -- features a low, deep-lying center of gravity aimed at getting the ball airborne easily and providing stability. The clubs are also equipped with Cleveland's Vibration Absorbing System, which helps to minimize vibrations on mishits.

Long Irons
The Cleveland Golf TA5 1-iron has a loft of 16 degrees, a lie angle of 58.5 degrees and is 39.75 inches long. The 2-iron has a loft of 18 degrees, a lie angle of 59 degrees and is 39.25 inches long. The 3-iron has a loft of 21 degrees, a lie angle of 59.5 degrees and is 38.75 inches long.

Mid Irons
Specifications for Cleveland TA5
The TA5 4-iron has a loft of 24 degrees, a lie angle of 60 degrees and is 38.25 inches long. The 5-iron has a loft of 27 degrees, a lie angle of 60.5 degrees and is 37.75 inches long. The 6-iron has a loft of 30 degrees, a lie angle of 61 degrees and is 37.25 inches long.

Short Irons
The 7-iron has a loft of 33.5 degrees, a lie angle of 61.5 degrees and is 36.75 inches long. The 8-iron has a loft of 37 degrees, a lie angle of 62 degrees and is 36.25 inches long. The 9-iron has a loft of 41 degrees, a lie angle of 62.5 degrees and is 35.75 inches long. Each iron in the TA5 series has a swing weight of D0.

Wedges
There are three different types of wedges in the TA5 range. The pitching wedge has a loft of 45 degrees and a lie angle of 63 degrees. It is 35.5 inches long and has a swing weight of D1. The gap wedge has a loft of 50 degrees and a lie angle of 63.5 degrees. It is 35.25 inches long and has a swing weight of D2. The sand wedge has a loft of 55 degrees and a lie angle of 64 degrees. It is 35 inches long and has a swing weight of D3.

Shafts
The TA5 line of clubs comes with a choice of steel or graphite shafts. Steel shafts include the True Temper Release, Dynamic Gold with Sensicore and Royal Precision Rifle, but clubs can also be fitted with the Cleveland graphite shaft. Clubs fitted with graphite shafts are 0.25 inches longer than the figures shown above.
