Uninstall Gmail Drives

GMail Drive is a shell namespace extension, an add-on, created by Viksoe that can be installed on Windows computers. It allows you to turn your Gmail email account into a virtual backup drive by transferring files from your computer to your Gmail account. Because GMail Drive is created by a third-party company and not Google, changes made to Gmail by Google can cause GMail Drive to stop working at any time. Use of GMail Drive and other third-party software may also result in Google temporarily suspending your Gmail account. If you experience problems with GMail Drive, uninstall it using your computer's Control Panel.

Click the "Start" menu at the bottom of the screen, then click the "Control Panel" button.

Click the "Add or Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a Program" link in the Control Panel.

Select "GMail Drive" from the list of programs.

Click the "Change/Remove" or "Uninstall" button at the top of the Programs screen.

Click "OK" to confirm that you want to uninstall GMail Drive from your computer.

Exit the Control Panel once GMail Drive has been uninstalled, then restart your computer.
