Download Photos From Email

Photos can be sent in an email either as an attachment or embedded in the body of the email. Once you receive a photo in an email, you can save it to any file on your computer. Bear in mind, attachments can contain viruses; unless you know the sender well, exercise caution.

Log in to your email account.

Open the email containing the photo you want to save.

Right-click on the photo embedded in the body of your email.

Click on "Save Image As" from the drop-down menu. This opens a dialogue box.

Type a name for the photo beside "File Name."

Double-click on the folder you use for your saved photos.

Click on the "Save" button. Your photo is saved to the folder you selected.

Log in to your email account.

Open the email containing the photo attachment you want to save.

Click on the "Download" link associated with any of the photos attached to the email. If the email contains multiple photos, look for the "Download All" link in the attachment area.

Select which photo viewer you plan to use to open the attachment from the list of options in the pop-up dialogue box.

Alternatively, select the "Save All" option.

Double-click on the folder you use for saved photos.

Click on the "Save" button. Your photos are saved to the folder you selected.
