Transfer Email From Old ISP to New ISP Provider

In the digital age of online connectivity with PC's, smartphones and other devices, keeping your email address can be especially important in maintaining day-to-day functions. When you move from one ISP (Internet Service Provider) to another, notifying friends, family, business contacts and others of your new email address can be a burdensome task. By transferring your email address of your old ISP to the email address of your new ISP, you can keep your emails coming without missing a beat.

Access your old ISP email account. Once in your email account, look for the "Options" tab.

Look for the "Forwarding" tab under the options menu. Follow the instructions as provided by your ISP for forwarding email.

Forward your old email address to your new email address through the POP (Post Office Protocol), which is the technology your computer uses to access your ISP's server containing your email account information. By forwarding your email, you will not have to change your old email address; any emails sent to the old address will be readily accessible through your new email.

Test your email forwarding to make sure it is properly set up.
