Forwarded email settings in Outlook are easy to change once you know where to look. One of the biggest peeves many people have with Outlook is when mail is forwarded as an attachment rather than inline. If you are having this problem, you need to change your forwarded mail settings.
Open the Options Menu
To change your forwarded mail settings, launch Outlook, then go to "Tools" and "Options." Click the button in the upper right of the box that says "Email Options."
Change Your Forwarding Options
Look at the bottom of the next window under "Replies and Forwards." In the drop-down box under "When Forwarding a Message," change the entry from "Attach Original Message" to "Include Original Message Text."
Restart Outlook
Close and then reopen Outlook. Your messages should now forward inline with the message rather than as an attachment.
