Emails provide a quick way to send and receive email messages, and you can share any messages you've received. Forwarding email is sometimes confused with replying to email, but they are not the same. When you forward an email, "FW" or "FWD" is automatically added to the subject line, and any attachments included in the message are retained. When you reply to a message, however, your attachments are removed and "RE" is added to the subject line.
Log in to your email account and open the email you want to forward.
Select the "Forward" button (Yahoo! Mail) to forward the email and any attachments included in the message. In Gmail or Live/Hotmail, click the arrow beside "Reply" to expand it and select "Forward" from the drop-down menu.
Go to the body of the email message. The information from the previous message displays below. Type in any information you want to include. To clear any existing text or images, highlight them and press the "Delete" key.
Go to the "To" field of your email message and enter the recipient's name. To send a copy to someone else, enter that person's email into the "Cc" field. To send a blind copy to someone, enter the recipient's address into the "Bcc" field.
Review the mail for accuracy and click "Send."
