Send Email Without Email Address

Even if you do not have an email account, if you have a cellphone enabled for Web use and text messaging you can still send messages and photos to someone else's email address. This is possible through features offered by wireless service providers called SMS and MMS, which stands for Short Messaging Service and Multimedia Messaging Service respectively. Through SMS, more commonly referred to as text messaging, you can send short messages to someone's cellphone or email. MMS allows you to do the same thing with pictures and video clips.

Open your cellphone's main menu. Navigate to the messaging submenu. Open a new text messaging window.

Use the phone's keypad to compose a short message of up to 120 to 500 characters. The total number of characters you are allowed to send via SMS varies depending upon your cellphone plan.

Select "Send."

Manually type the recipient's email address in the "To" field. Or you can opt to conduct a search for the recipient's email address in the phone's address book. If your phone is not equipped with a keyboard, pressing the "1" key on the phone's number pad several times will generally bring up the "at" (@) and dot (.) symbols required to type an email address.

Select "Send" again.
