If you rekindle things with friends you previously blocked on email, you can make it so you can communicate online again after blocking each other. When you block a user on Hotmail or Yahoo! email, this is not a permanent removal. Though the person will not be able to contact you when he is blocked, you can remove the block so you can receive messages from him again.
Yahoo! Mail
Choose "Options" from the top corner of the main screen. Next click "Mail Options" followed by "Options."
Click "Spam" in the right menu.
Highlight the email address in the box of blocked addresses and click "Remove."
Hotmail
Sign in to your Hotmail account with your user name and password. Click "Options" in the top corner of the screen. Choose "More Options" followed by "Options."
Choose "Junk E-Mail" and click "Safe and Blocked Senders." Click "Blocked Senders" from the options listed on the screen.
Highlight the email address in the box and click "Remove."
Yahoo! Mail
Choose "Options" from the top corner of the main screen. Next click "Mail Options" followed by "Options."
