In addition to being one of the most popular search engines online, Yahoo! also offers a free webmail service. When you originally sign up for a Yahoo! email account, you provide basic contact information, including your name, birth date and address. Depending on recent changes in your life, you may need to change this data. Whether you recently moved, got married or changed your cell phone number, you can update your information by accessing your account settings.
Go to the Yahoo! website and and log in to your account. After signing in, you will notice your username at the top of the page.
Click your username and select the "Account Info" option. You will be asked to verify your Yahoo! account password. Enter your password and click the "Sign In" button.
Click the "Update your contact information" link, which is located on the left side of the page. You'll have the option to update a variety of information, including your name, address and phone number.
Click the "Save" button after updating your contact information.
