Yahoo! Mail has unlimited storage, which means all the messages you have sent and received will stay in your Yahoo! Mail account until you manually delete them. You can delete your entire Yahoo! Mail history easily, but this process must be repeated any time you receive new email.
Launch a Web browser and navigate to the Yahoo! login page.
Enter your Yahoo! email address and password and click "Sign In."
Click "Inbox" to load your received email messages.
Click "Actions" to bring up a drop-down menu.
Click "Select All Emails" from the drop-down menu. A check mark will appear next to each email in the inbox.
Click "Delete." When the "Are you sure you want to delete all the emails in this folder?" message appears, click "OK."
Click "Empty," directly across from "Trash," on the left side of the screen. Confirm with "OK" when asked if you want to permanently delete the trash folder. Your Yahoo! mailbox is now empty and the mail history in this account is deleted.
Click "Empty," directly across from "Spam," on the left side of the screen. Confirm with "OK" when asked if you are sure you want to permanently delete the contents of the spam folder.
