Yahoo! Mail helps you identify any emails that you have not read or marked as unread by making the mail headers bold. You may identify the contents of some of the emails you received from others without opening them just by looking at the subjects. Delete any of these unread emails if you are confident that the mail is either spam or mail that you do not need.
Log into your Yahoo! Mail account. Choose a folder such as the "Inbox" that contains the unread messages that you want to delete.
Click the checkboxes that are next to any unread emails that you wish to delete.
Click the "Delete" button to delete all of the messages that you selected.
