You can change the name that appears on outgoing Yahoo! Mail at anytime. When you send an email message from the account, your name is displayed as the sender. Changing the name gives you the option of keeping your name private or using a nickname you prefer. The name you select to display as the sender in outgoing Yahoo! Mail is up to you.
Open a web browser and access the Yahoo! Mail website. Log in to your account with your Yahoo! ID and password.
Click "Options" in the left menu and select "More Options" from the drop-down list.
Click "Accounts" in the side menu and select your Yahoo! Mail account.
Delete the name listed in the "Your 'From' Name" field and enter the name you want to appear on outgoing emails from the account.
Click "Save Changes" to finalize your changes to the outgoing name.
