Facebook offers Web-based email automatically when you sign up for a profile. If you have a secondary email account, such as a Yahoo! email account, you may wish to have your Yahoo! email sent to your Facebook email account so that you can access all of your email in one place. Fortunately, you can easily set this up by forwarding your Yahoo! email to your Facebook email account. Note that in order to forward mail from your Yahoo! account, you must have a Yahoo! Plus account, which is a paid service.
Open your Web browser and visit mail.yahoo.com to access your Yahoo! email account. Input your Yahoo! login details and click "Sign In."
Click on the "Options" drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the page. Scroll down and click on "More Options." A new page will appear.
Click on the "POP & Forwarding" option along the left side of the page.
Select the option for ""Forward your Yahoo! Mail."
Input your Facebook email address (including the "@facebook.com" extension) into the "Forward mail to the following address" field. Your Facebook email address is your Facebook user name followed by @facebook.com. You can find your Facebook user name directly following Facebook.com when you visit your personal profile. For example, if your Facebook profile is "Facebook.com/John.Jones," your Facebook email address is "John.Jones@facebook.com".
Click on "Save Changes." A "Verify Email Address" window will appear listing three steps that you must complete before you email forwards to the new address.
Click the "Send Code" link in the "Step 1" section of the window. Yahoo! will send a message to your Facebook email address.
Log in to Facebook and click on "Messages" on the left side of the screen, beneath your profile picture, to access your Facebook email account. All email messages sent to your Facebook email address appear in your "Messages" folder. Open the email from Yahoo! and locate the "Confirmation Code," a string of alphanumeric characters. Copy the confirmation code.
Paste the confirmation code into the empty field in the "Step 3" section of the Yahoo! Verify Email Address window. Click on "Done."
