Use Yahoo eMail to Sign up Blogger

You can use any Yahoo! Mail email address to sign up for a Blogger online journal account. Blogger is free and lets you post pictures, thoughts and even videos on your own personal journal website. The service is owned by Google, but you don’t have to have a Gmail address or Google account to sign up for the service. Use your entire Yahoo! Mail email address when creating your Blogger account.

Creating a Blogger Account
Navigate your computer’s Internet browser to the Blogger site and click the “Get Started” button. The Create a Google Account screen opens. Enter your Yahoo! Mail email address in the Email Address and Retype Email Address boxes. Enter your personal information in the remaining boxes on the Create a Google Account screen. Click the “Continue” button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the signup process and post your first online journal entry.

Email and Password Storage
Blogger’s Remember Me option stores your Yahoo! Mail email address and the password you assigned to your Blogger account for two weeks so you don’t have to enter the information each time you navigate to the Blogger site. Do not use the Remember Me option if you are accessing the website on a shared or public computer -- someone could enter your Blogger account and tamper with your posts and settings.

Account Settings
Click the down arrow next to your Yahoo! Mail email address in the upper-right corner of the Blogger screen to access settings related to your Blogger account. Click the “Account Settings” link to access the Account Overview screen. You can change your account’s password, edit email addresses and link your Blogger account to other Google services within this screen.

Deleting an Account
You can also delete your Blogger account, profile and journal within the Account Overview screen, if desired. Click the "Delete Profile and Remove Associated Social Features" link to delete your Blogger profile and journal. Click the "Close Account and Delete All Services and Info Associated With It" link to delete your entire Blogger account.
