Open your browser and navigate to the Yahoo! email login page.
Copy the URL that appears in your browser's address bar at the top of the browser.
Right-click an empty area on your desktop and click "New" to display a menu of options. Click "Shortcut" to open the "Create Shortcut" dialog window. Paste the text you copied into the "Type the Location of the Item" text box.
Click "Next" to continue. Type a name for the shortcut in the "New Internet Shortcut" text box and click "Finish." Windows places a new shortcut icon on your desktop. Click the icon. Your browser opens your Yahoo login page.
