Size for Youth Fitted Baseball Cap

When choosing a fitted non-adjustable baseball cap for a child, take the time to find the proper size prior to purchasing a cap. Use a tape measure to measure your child’s head quickly and easily. Then determine the proper size by comparing the measurement to measurements that range within each size. This will ensure a fit that is both comfortable and attractive as the child wears the hat for sport or play.

Place the end of the tape measure on the child’s head one-half inch above the child’s eyebrows.

Wrap the tape measure all the way around the child’s head and back to the beginning of the tape measure.

Note the measurement and write it down so you do not forget it.

Purchase a youth size ball cap if your child’s head measures between 19 inches and 19 3/4 inches (sizes 6, 6 1/8 and 6 1/4).

Select a small size ball cap if your child’s head measures between 20 1/8 and 21 5/8 inches (sizes 6 3/8, 6 1/2, 6 5/8, 6 3/4 and 6 7/8).

Choose a medium size ball cap if your child’s head measures between 22 and 22 3/8 inches (sizes 7 and 7 1/8).
