Generic background and poses make the pictures look dull and uninteresting. Having the pictures taken with a unique backdrop of baseball poses will make the pictures seem more life-like and action-oriented. You don't have to be a professional photographer to create unique pictures; just a little creativity.

Don't take the pictures when the sun is high in the sky. Very little light will appear on the players' faces if they are wearing hats. Take the pictures when the sunlight is at a lower angle to help provide a better looking picture.
