History of a Blogging of Give Girl for 23

Image result for 23It's easy to get down with the stress and constant struggles that come with owning a business. Below is a list of ways you can stay happy in your virtual assistant practice, business... or even if you work in a traditional j.o.b.

Don't Be Afraid Of Change

Embrace it! Sometimes we have to go through changes and often it is good! You don't want to get stuck in a rut while the rest of the world passes you by. This can be especially harmful for your business. Being able to adapt in an ever changing world of business will allow you to stand out among the other half of Americans that are also business owners.

Look Ahead to the Future

Don't hold on to yesterday. So what if it was a bad day? If you don't let it go it can really hold you back and distract you from the prize. Brush it off and keep pushing onward to success.

Enough with the Excuses

Excuses aren't doing you any favors... they're holding you back. Take any little mishaps or failures and turn them into learning opportunities. Take the problem, find out how to solve it. Don't waste time coming up with a way to excuse it.

Accept and Learn From Your Mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes, we're human. However, if you don't take your mistakes and learn from them, then they aren't going to serve you well. Accept them and take steps to correct them.

It's For You

This is your business. You're supposed to love your job. Sure, you want to have happy clients but that doesn't mean you can't keep yourself happy as well. It isn't just your money on the line, it's your life and your happiness. Don't let your job drain it all away from you.

Be Fearless

Fear holds us back. It stops us from taking chances that could really be good for us. You've probably heard the famous quote from President Roosevelt, "The only thing to fear is fear itself." Don't let fear hold you back from greatness.

Sometimes You're Wrong, Accept It

Nobody is right all of the time. We aren't perfect, we make bad choices and sometimes we're flat out wrong. It's okay to accept ideas from someone else if they are better than yours, you don't have to be right all the time. Being able to seek out the right answers, even if they aren't your own is the first step to being able to grow.

Don't Forget about Your Strengths

Everyone is good at different things. Realize that crazy mad skill you possess and build on it. This will not only better yourself but also your business.

Stop Blaming Others

Just like making excuses, blaming others really just holds you back when it comes to solving the problem. "Who" is not as important as "why" or "how" when it comes to fixing the problem.
