Looking Forward to the 2015 BS Telecom Awards Winner Faizan

For anyone that works for haulage companies or is interested in an enterprise in the hauling industry, the date of March 21st, 2015 should be solidified in their minds as a date to be saved! It marks the date of the Annual Members Transport Awards.

People involved in haulage companies all across the United Kingdom and Europe will congregate to celebrate on this special industry night of nights. During the event, several awards highlighting the best of the best in the haulage industry will be given out. With an unforgettable evening in store, a new venue for the celebration, and the potential to connect with old friends and make new ones, nobody in the industry should miss it.

About the awards

Since 2002, the Annual Transport Awards has been aimed at members who work with or run courier and haulage companies. Founded to showcase and celebrate the greatest achievements in the industry, the event has grown exponentially since 2002. Since it was launched, the awards ceremony (to be held in 2015 in Solihull) has brought together industry professionals, small and large companies and individuals from all corners of Europe. The awards ceremony itself is quite impressive, but the networking aspects of it make it a worthwhile venture in and of itself. Even if you don't take home the gold, the opportunities to make connections are priceless.

The Awards

During the course of the year preceding the event, all members are encouraged to nominate individuals or haulage companies for one or more of the five awards presented on the night. Each one is designed to recognise industry success on a variety of levels.

The first award is the New Member of the Year Award, which recognises a member who has recently joined and has taken into account the ethos and avenues available to them, growing their business as a result.

The second award is the Owner Driver of the Year Award, which celebrates an owner driver who has consistently delivered the goods (so to speak!) and has been noticed by others in the community.

The third award goes to one of the haulage companies that have utilised all platforms available to grow their business, and has continually achieved on time results for their customers.

The fourth award is the European Member of the Year Award. Looking outside the UK is a vital part of creating a EU-wide exchange group where drivers, companies and traders can get connected. This award is given to a European company that uses the exchange network to gain recognition within the haulage community.

Finally, the Network of the Year Award is given out to a network that engages its users involved with haulage companies.
